POPULAR! marks sustained interest over 30 days. HOT! marks strong listening over seven days. RISING! marks growth compared with the previous week. Badges update daily once enough browsers qualify, and may remain for one extra day as interest changes.

NEW! appears for the first 14 days after release, or for as long as House of Rob keeps it selected. CLASSIC is selected by House of Rob. Any badge can also be selected editorially; an editorial POPULAR!, HOT!, or RISING! takes precedence over automatic popularity.

A listen qualifies after 30 seconds of playback, or half a song shorter than a minute. Pausing, buffering and seeking do not add listening time. Each browser contributes once per song per UTC day.

We store a random identifier in this browser for up to 90 days. A hashed version is stored with the song and day for up to 35 days to calculate badges. This measures browsers, not people. No account or detailed playback history is needed. Your network address is used transiently for request rate limiting, not stored in the listening database.

Turning this off removes the browser identifier. Existing contributions expire automatically. Clearing browser storage also clears this preference.
